Wessex joinery has worked on many high profile historic window and door restoration projects including:
- Box Sash Windows at Stowe School in Buckingham
- Huge ornate internal door frames with Pigs Ear Architraves at Compton Verney Art Gallery near Stratford
- Restoration of historic interior oak panelling, external doors and window frames for Thornbury Castle in South Gloucester
- Full restoration of historically significant arched oriel windows, curved on-plan bay windows along with entrance doors, again curved on-plan, at Luttrell’s Tower.
- Restoration of seating pews in St. George’s concert hall in Bristol.

Our house incorporates different styles of building including Georgian and Victorian. Stephen has restored several of the windows and has been extremely good at retaining the historic style. Two of the bays have beautiful wooden arches, Stephen replaced the rotten wood and re-glazed these achieving an exact replica of the original window. We are very pleased with the work that he has done.
